No matter how short and sweet an elopement—there is beauty to be found in every moment. In the case of Kayla and Brett, this couple was literally surrounded by beauty from EVERY DIRECTION. Rocky Mountain National Park has some of the most epic mountain views!!
Breckenridge, Colorado is THE spot for an alpine elopement with amazing snow-capped mountains and crystal lakes. We found our frozen lake at the Blue Lakes Trailhead which took a 4×4 vehicle just to get past the ice! I’ve known cold temps, but there is something about Colorado that has its own copyrighted version of COLD!
The amazing Wildwood Floral Co styled the flowers for both the decor and bouquet. Wildwood Floral Co added even more beauty to the frozen white tundra by creating these boho-inspired florals as the perfect backdrop to the couple’s big day.
Despite the terrain and temps, it was a spectacular time watching these two reflect back the beauty of their environment. Following the newlyweds as they walked around the frozen-solid lake at 11,000 feet, there was something magical about this start to their adventure together. Unfamiliar, yet joyous, and as gorgeous as the red fox we sighted at the close of this snow-capped elopement day.
