This day from start to finish was incredible.
Not only did I have the honor of attending their rehearsal dinner the night before at the coolest bowling alley ever, but I felt like a guest the entire time.
Indy and Chad had been looking forward to this day for so stinking long!! From dating in high school to YEARS later where they finally get to tie the knot, it was an emotional day.
As the redwoods towered over us and Indy walked up to Chad for the first time during their first look, Chad got to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day and became overwhelmed with emotions. He began to tear up as Indy wiped the tears from his face.
And as we took portraits in the giant trees, Indy and Chad remained in their own world – wrapped up in each other and forgetting that we were there. It was magical.
Nestledown is such an amazing venue located in Los Gatos, California, and it had SO many incredible features, like a cottage that looked like something straight out of Snow White, and a beautiful barn to dance the night away in. Just scroll down to see what I’m talking about – it was fantastic!
Indy and Chad never forgot to make sure that all of their guests were taken care of and having fun – yet remaining so laid back and with each other the entire time. I don’t think I saw them apart ever the whole night!
And as the night came to a close, our bellies full of mac n cheese and delicious wine, everyone grab the magic wands that Indy and Chad had made for their grand exit. They lit up the dance floor and surround Indy and Chad as they danced the final song of the night together. Everyone dangled the lights over them, and it was honestly one of the most magical moments I think I’ve ever witnessed!
Indy and Chad – thank you thank you thank you for letting me capture your special day! Thank you for seeing my vision and for trusting me to capture yours! <3
Now – who’s ready to get married at Nestledown again? I’m ready to make the trek back up there!! WORTH. IT.
Another dream come true!! Great work girl!
